WE ARE A SCOP, A COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISE
We, the employees of ETHIQUABLE, are the sole shareholders of the company. We are approved solidarity company of social utility. For 17 years, we have been acting in favor of committed fair trade and supporting organic peasant agriculture with 80 cooperatives of small partner producers. Our fair trade projects have a direct impact for 48,990 producers in 27 countries. Each of our fair trade and organic products comes from a single region, a single organization with which we have identified a development and empowerment project. We support producers in the field to carry out these fair trade projects.
What exactly does the Scop status and the ESUS acronym mean ?
ESUS approval is issued in the prefecture for a period of 5 years to companies that:
pursue a goal of social utility or general interest
In our statutes, it is specified that the objective of ETHIQUABLE is the development of fair trade. 100% of our activity concerns fair trade and support for organic peasant agriculture. whose capital is not traded on a financial market
Ethiquable’s capital belongs to its employee-members. The business cannot be sold.At ETHIQUABLE , we are 140 employees and 89 employees are members of our SCOP . All employees are required to become members after 2 years of seniority.

having a remuneration policy that respects a maximum salary ceiling
Our salary scale between the lowest salary and the highest salary is from 1 to 4. We respect – easily – the annual ceiling set at 7 times the SMIC for the highest salaries.
